Dental implantology is the discipline of dentistry that deals with the replacement of lost teeth, this is done by placing surgically a dental implant in the maxillary or mandibular bone.​
Dental implants are small screws of titanium or other biocompatible materials (that do not generate rejection by the immune system of our body) that fulfill the function of the natural roots of the teeth that we have lost. Dental implants are designed on the implants that will allow restoring the patient’s masticatory, phonetic and aesthetic functions.

Implants can be considered as the evolution of conventional dentures, more properly called removable dentures. Unlike the latter, dental implants are “screwed” directly into the bone of the patient’s jaw or jaw, achieving a much better fixation.
The combination of implant and crown rehabilitates one or several dental absences, making it possible for the patient to recover the best appearance in his smile and enabling the patient to talk, eat and laugh without any worry or discomfort.
